Did You Know I Created a Coffee Table Art book???

I have a coffee table art book called “Artistic Calligraphy” that contains 15 of my Asian Fusion Calligraphy paintings along with Japanese style poems that match the imagery inspired from my years growing up in Taiwan and Korea.

Burning cup, tea steam wafting.
Straw floor, coal heat. Down blanket;
sound of snowflakes landing.

When I was a teenager, I traveled around both Korea and Taiwan on school trips where we would stay overnight in youth hostels with straw floors and big fluffy blankets. There was coal heat under the room that myself or one of my classmates would have to go outside to stoke in order to keep our room warm for the night.

Often when we would awake in the morning after a night’s snowfall, the water pipes outside our room would be frozen so that we could not wash our face or brush our teeth. At that time, the best remedy for our cold fingers was grasping a burning hot cup of steamy tea!
