Value Studies Live Painting Class and Art Sale

Join me for my next LIVE Painting Workshop and Art Sale! We’ll be exploring value studies in black, white and grays; including why these are important starting points for understanding a subject to be painted.

  • Black and White Image - lots of gray tones as well

  • Graphite Pencils - regular and/or water-soluble

  • Stabilo ALL Pencil Black - they are water-soluble

  • Charcoal or Charcoal Pencils

  • Charcoal Powder

  • Blending Stump and Shammy

  • Drawing Paper

  • Pastel Paper

  • Acrylic Paints - Black, Titanium White, Mixing or Zinc White

  • Mixed Media or Watercolor Paper

  • Eraser

  • Kneaded Eraser

  • Princeton Select Artiste Brushes

  • Water

  • Paper Towels
