As seen in F&W Media book, 'Art Journal Kickstarter', this art journal page incorporates Micron markers, charcoal, stamps, Letraset watercolor markers, Faber Castel color markers, Pan Pastels, scrapbook paper, words from a magazine and Jaquard 3-D paint.

This art journal page began as a page on which to test out various brands of colored markers, then progressed to adding book, map and art paper collage, then lettering written in Micron pens inspired by Violette in her book "Journal Bliss".

This art journal page started out as a blind contour drawing of a pear, enhanced with Faber Castel Gelato's and Derwent Inktense pencils, both spread with water, then surrounded with fun patterned Washi tape. Additional collage elements and drippy Golden High Flow fluorescent paints were added as finishing touches.

This journal page began as a workshop demonstration with textured gel mediums used to enhance the paper surface, then collage elements were added (including pasting on a self portrait and adding some dyed cheescloth). When dry, shapes were drawn on with stencils using charcoal, acrylic pens and micron pens. Jacquard 3-D paint in copper was used to create a raised effect for the glasses, Sakura souffle pens were used on the eyes and Faber Castel Gelato's were used with water to create color washes. 

This art journal page started as a quick application of color on the background paper by swiping with acrylic and an old plastic card key. When dry, the eye photos and other collage elements were added with gel medium and, when dry, Washi tape was added to anchor the eyes to the page. One aluminum and one copper sheet were embossed and colored with Adirondak alcohol inks and acrylic paint, then glued to the page with gel medium. When dry additional paint was added to the surface, including red acrylic on bubble wrap as a stamp. Last, the word 'recognition' was torn from a magazine and glued to the page.

11 in x 14 in, mixed media in a Moleskin art journal. Love the large format.

This art journal page started out with a wash of left over acrylic paint from another project (part of my "no paint left behind" philosophy). Next was stenciled on the thicker yellow acrylic paint. Using a large marker, I loosly drew a 'self-portrait' in the style of Misty Mawn and Roxanne Padgett, and went back in to create some highlights with gesso, then colored the eyes and lips with Sakura Gelly Roll and Souffle pens. The hair was added last with dry pastel as a brighter version of a red haircolor I had recently gotten.
